Home

On the home page, you will see the Dashboard, that gives you up to date information about what maintenance records have been created, any chemical adjustments, equipment that needs maintenance and which chemicals have been depleted in the last week By clicking on the numbers for equipment that needs maintenance and chemicals depleted, you will be shown a log of the the changes made.
Once you are logged into Nak.ag, you will see a text box where you can enter a status to update others what you are doing, working on, or any other important information.
Once you have created a status you can post it to the website, but you can also send it to a group of people (eg. administrators, supervisors, etc) via SMS (text message), email, or both. When the status is displayed on the website, it will display icons if it has been sent by SMS or email.
Here you will see a "feed" of the most recent status updates. You can also click on the name of the person who made the update to be taken to their page, where you can see all of their recent updates, or send them a private message.
The list of recent updates shows you what your co-workers have been up to on Nak.ag. It will show you if a piece of equipment has had a maintenance record added, or if a new document has been uploaded or downloaded, etc.

Chemical

You can view the chemicals in three different ways.
  1. Tiled view: will show you the name of the chemical, a picture, how much of the chemical is in stock.
  2. List view: will show you the chemicals in alphabetical order, how much is on hand, and the last change that was made. You can also make quick adjustments to the levels.
  3. Category view will show you every chemical in a certain category (Insecticides, Herbicides, etc)
Under the "List Chemical" tab, you can quickly adjust chemical levels by clicking on the plus or minus buttons.
Under this tab, you can generate reports about the chemicals. For example, you can create a report of all the chemicals that need to be restocked, which chemicals have been depleted in the last week, etc. To do this, you only need to click on "View" beside the report you would like to see.
Click on the "Add Chemical" tab. You can then fill in the information about the new chemical (name, quantity, cost, group, etc.) The more information you enter, the more accurate Nak.ag will be, and the more accurate the reports will be. After you have filled in all the information, click "Add Chemical".
If you click on any chemical name you will be taken to a detailed view of that chemical, where you can see a recent log of that chemical, adjust levels, and see how much is on hand.

Equipment

By clicking on the "Equipment Reports" tab, you can generate reports about all the pieces of equipment. For example, you can list equipment from highest mileage to lowest, how many parts were used in the last month, how many hours were worked on each piece of equipment, etc. To view these reports, click "View"
Click on the "Add Equipment" tab, and enter all the information for the new piece of equipment. You must select a type and sub type for each piece of equipment. Enter all the information you have, this will help keep Nak.ag up-to-date, and will make the reports much more accurate.
  1. By clicking on the name of any piece of equipment, you will be taken to a detailed view of the piece of equipment. Here, you can look at the basic information of the equipment, view the maintenance log, create a maintenance report, view a report of the maintenance on the equipment, and view what parts it uses. You can click on "Edit Equipment" to change any information about the equipment.

  1. Click on + Maintenance Report
  2. Fill in the information about the maintenance,eg. the date the maintenance was completed, hours, mileage, the type, who completed it, what parts were used
  3. Enter a description of the maintenance.
  4. If you have another maintenance record to submit on the same piece of equipment, click "Submit then add another", If you finished entering records for that equipment, click "Add Maintenance Record"
If there is a specific piece of equipment you need to find, you can search through the different lists (Irrigation, Machinery, Vehicle). Or, you can use the search box to look for a piece of equipment. (Eg. if you type in "spud" you will be given a list of all pieces of equipment with the word "spud" in its name.

Land

Under the "Land" tab, you will be shown a list of all the parcels of land that have been entered into Nak.ag. By clicking on any parcel, you will be taken to a detailed view of that parcel. On this page, you can add irrigation records, edit any information about the parcel of land, etc.
Under "Land Reports", you can generate reports that tell you which equipment is assigned to which parcels of land, see what irrigation has happened, and if included, what each parcel of land looks like.
To add a new parcel of land, click on "+ Add Land". Then enter the name of the parcel, the legal land descriptions, and any notes that others will need to know. Then click "Add Land".

Person

This shows you the list of all the staff members that are on Nak.ag. From this page you can see what their role in the company is, when they last logged into Nak.ag
You can generate different reports to see staff activity that has taken place on both the Chemical and Documents pages.
To send someone a private message thorugh Nak.ag, click on their name (either in the Person List View, or in the Status Feed), to be taken to their "profile" page. From here you can send them a message on Nak.ag. You also have the option to send them the message to their cell phone and email address.

Document

When you click on the "Document" page, you will be shown all of the documents that have been uploaded to Nak.ag. The documents will be sorted into folders for easy access.
On the main Document page, there are two sections at the bottom of the page. The first is a list of the most recently added documents. The second is a list of "Pinned Documents". Pinned documents are files that have been uploaded to Nak.ag, and are important for everyone to read.
If you have uploaded a document that is important for everyone to read, you can "Pin" it, so that it stays on the main page, and does not get moved down the list when other documents are uploaded. To pin a document, first you must uploaded the document to Nak.ag. After you have uploaded it, you will see the document in the Recently added list. Click on the Actions button beside the document name, and then click on "Sticky". To unpin a document, click on the Actions button again, and select "Unsticky".
To upload a new document, click on the "Add Document" tab. You then can choose a file from your computer to upload. You then fill in the document name, which folder you want it to go in (this will help keep the files organized). You can also select an expiry date, if you only want the document to be displayed for a certain amount of time. You can enter notes about the document if you want. Click on "Add Document" to finish
To help keep documents organized you can create folders. To do so, click on the Create Folder tab. You can then name the folder (e.g tractors, potatoes, etc). If you want to make this a sub-folder, select which folder you want it to be a sun-folder of. If you do not select a folder from the drop-down menu, the folder will be displayed on the Document home page.
To create reports about the documents that have been uploaded, simply click on the Reports tab. You can then click Generate to see reports on who has accessed a document, how often a document has been downloaded, which documents have been recently deleted, and an overall list of current documents on Nak.ag.
